Afternoon at the Marina

Oliver does the robot

Ronan multitasks--posing with one of his "hip-hop" moves while holding kettle corn.

Ok--we need a dog.

Dahin loves the view but does not like the wind whipping around her. The Marina is beautiful but, normally, it's about 10-20 degrees cooler there than other places in the East Bay. Even on the warmest summer days, you usually need a jacket. This day was unusually warm.

The boys LOVE riding their bikes at the Marina. I am now very happy we bought these for their birthday. But, Oliver still has a preference for his little tricycle. If the peddles get stuck or he has trouble balancing, he'll say, "See, I told you it won't work!" (I've menti0ned he has a bit of an attitude, right?). Oliver, as well, hates his helmet. I end up carrying it around with me. I'm such not the enforcer.

The kites were swirling around the boys as they walked their bikes down a hill. Going down hill takes a braveness factor that has yet to emerge yet. Although, at times, the boys do surprise me with their daring feats on their bikes--like Ronan standing up and peddling and Oliver riding backwards.
