Oliver loves to read, or, at least, look at the pictures and 'retell' the story. He'll sit for the longest time reading a book quietly in his room or on the couch. And, these days, he's begun asking for the light to be left on so that he can look at the book we read for evening story time. Often, he ends up falling asleep with a book, a habit which seems to have replaced his need for the beloved blankie, a change most likely encouraged by the loss of his favorite yellow blankie at Dahin's school. I'm glad he's been able to transition to something else, but miss the 'blankie days.'
