Just drive a little bit outside of the city and you're literally surrounded by farms and fruit stands. One of the things I love about living here is the abundance of fresh fruit. We found this fruit stand just outside of Sacramento on the freeway and were pleasantly surprised to see they were selling not only strawberries (picked from 
the nearby field), but cherries. We bought a huge bag of cherries and a flat of strawberries for five bucks. Yum!
