I was in Pusan a couple of weeks ago for a musicologist gathering. The best part about it was the bountiful seafood in this port city. I really like the relaxed atmostphere of Pusan. I found the people to be very friendly and the food to be amazing. It was nice to see old friends and to meet new colleagues. Of course, there was plenty of karaoke-ing and maekju drinking. That made it all the better! :)
