Studio Work

I recorded a track for Karjam Saeji's upcoming CD.  My friend Cedarbough (Karjam's wife) posted a video of the session and about 1/3 of the song.  The song is about his best friend whose been imprisoned in Tibet for posting traditional Tibetan poetry on his website.  The song is called "Song for Tsemphel."  Below is a video of one of the students from my department recording as well.  She's playing the dae ajaeng (the large ajaeng--a bowed zither) and, being only a sophomore in college, she totally surprised me with how professional and poised she was at the session.  I was told she showed up having transcribed Karjam's song.  The name of the song is "Counting Song."
