Love Locks

At the top of Namsan, there is a fence that surrounds the courtyard/look-out area where people can see the view of the city from one of the highest points in the city's center. The fence is smothered in 'love locks"--people write notes to the one they love together or individually either on the locks or on plastic thingies they then attach to the lock. It's fascinating to browse through the different love notes, some very intimate and others fairly generic. I spied Oliver trying to unlock a few of the love locks. He actually managed to decode one that had a code lock and it snapped open--oops. I quicky re-locked it and scrambled the code he had figured out in suspicion that it might not be a good thing to unlock someone's love lock.
