Dahin's school hosted "Read All Day" today. The kids could go to school in their pajamas, bring a lovey, and bring books to trade. Dahin took three books to school today and brought two for a friend to trade, coming back with four books. The rules were, you could pick out four books to take home. Dahin chose to get three books for herself and one for her brothers. The book she chose for them is this big old book, A Treasury of Children's Literature. She could have chosen four books for herself but, instead, thought of her brothers. So sweet! You know, on those days when I am so frustrated and tired of the kids bickering and whining, I need to remember times like this. It is so wonderfully evident that Dahin loves her brothers.

I think that is the advantage of having one child older than the other siblings... they can definitely help out. :-) I'm thinking our next one will be about five or six years younger than Scarlett.
You weren't kidding about Dahin thinking she's a tween, she looks like a tween also! Really, really gorgeous daughter, you are very lucky.
Just bookmarked your site, will definitely check it out regularly. This is such a great way to stay in touch with everyone and let them all know what you are up to without writing a gazillion emails. :-)
